See mat classesWhy private
One instructor for one client in every private session.
In a private session every exercise, spring setting and progression is chosen for your body. Your instructor watches your alignment and breathing the whole time, so you build strength, mobility and control without guessing.
More mobility, more control
Built little by little, respecting each person’s time and limits. That is how we work at Inspire.
Step 01
Send the form or a WhatsApp message with your goals, your routine and any pain, injury or surgery we should know about.
Step 02
We talk, look at how you move and try the apparatus together at a comfortable pace. No experience needed.
Step 03
Each session builds on the last. Exercises and spring settings change as you get stronger and more mobile.

Meet the studio
Inspire Pilates is run by Bruna Felix Costa, with her husband Jean by her side. Bruna opened the studio in Lowell to offer what busy group classes rarely can: sessions planned around each person, their goals and their limits.
Alongside Pilates, she offers lymphatic drainage and recovery massage, so clients can train and recover in the same calm space.
The Roll Up
Scroll to see the Roll Up, a classic mat exercise that teaches the spine to move one vertebra at a time.
Inhale
Lie long on the mat and reach your arms overhead.
Exhale and peel up
Lift your head and roll the spine off the mat, one vertebra at a time.
Reach long
Fold forward over straight legs with a long spine and a steady breath.

Ask us directlyNo. Every session is planned around your body, your goals and your limits, so beginners start at the right level. Your first session is the time to tell us about your routine, any pain, injuries or surgeries, and to try the apparatus at your own pace.
A private session is you and your instructor, one on one. A duet is two people sharing the session, a good option to train with a friend or partner while still getting close attention on the apparatus.
Our main studio is at 13 Hurd Street, Lowell, MA. We also have a Pilates space in Chelmsford at 51 Middlesex Street, Suite A109, inside CrossFit Liberator.
Many people do, but timing matters. Always follow your surgeon or doctor’s guidance first. When you book, tell us what procedure you had and when, and we will plan the session around that.
Comfortable clothes that let you move and that stay in place when you bend or roll. Avoid zippers and loose jewelry that can catch on the apparatus.
